Deleting Annotation Batches on Roboflow

You can delete annotation batches for images within your project:

1. Removing Annotation Batches: Images Uploaded to the Project, but Unassigned for Labeling
2. Removing Annotation Batches: Images Uploaded to the Project, and Within the Annotation Queue
3. Removing Annotation Batches: Images are Labeled, Approved, and Added to the Dataset

Images Uploaded to the Project, but Unassigned for Labeling

Images in the "Unassigned" Queue

• Deleting a batch from this queue will result in permanent deletion from the project. We cannot recover the images after they have been permanently deleted. Be sure you have selected the correct batch prior to confirming the deletion.

Images Uploaded to the Project, and Within the Annotation Queue

Images in the "Annotating" Queue

• Deleting a batch from this queue will send it back to the "Unassigned" queue. Be sure you have selected the correct batch prior to confirming the deletion.
• Any images that were labeled prior to confirming the deletion will retain their annotations.

Images are Labeled, Approved, and Added to the Dataset

Images in the "Dataset" Queue

• Deleting a batch from this queue will send it back to the "Unassigned" queue, and remove them from the current dataset. Be sure you have selected the correct batch prior to confirming the deletion.
• Any images that were labeled prior to confirming the deletion will retain their annotations.
• NOTE: As the images are removed from the dataset when deleting batches from this queue, be sure you have selected the correct batch prior to confirming the deletion as any subsequently generated versions will not include the images from the "deleted" batch.
